About this course
Going to a restaurant, taking a taxi, or buying things in a convenience store are just ordinary scenarios that seem like no big deal. But when these situations are conducted entirely in the Korean language, they can be seriously intimidating for Korean learners. That's why we came up with this language vaccine, which will help you experience such situations and prepare in advance.
This course is based on "REAL" Korean conversations, not just "realistic" Korean conversations. There are no scripts, studio settings, or acting involved. Every interaction is captured spontaneously to show Korean learners authentic conversations between native Koreans. We believe this is the most practical Korean course available, designed for anyone on their journey to mastering the Korean language.

Although Iโm a level 2 learner and this is targeted to level 3-6, this is so helpful is frankly an absolute genius idea!! Just completed my first lesson and looking forward to the rest of the lesson.

I noticed in the restaurant lesson when the owner ended sentences with ์ it came out as an exaggerated ์ผ. Is this a dialect thing, or done just for effect?
In colloquial speech, not pronouncing ‘์’ accurately can sometimes sound like ‘์ฌ’ or ‘์ผ,’ rather than a distinct dialect! : )
In the restaurant video Seung-wan calls the waiter ์ฌ์ฅ๋, does he say that because the waiter is the owner or because that is a respectful term? Either way I say we start the term ๋น์ฅ for a restaurant owner. ๐ ๋๋ด์ด์ง์!
Well, I got the impression he could be the owner, but I wasn’t completely sure๐ I used ‘์ฌ์ฅ๋’ primarily as a way to show respect! Thank you for enjoying the course!

I am a beginner but like to hear real speech patterns. I really like the explanations and being able to read the transcript. My only wish is that I had the ability, as I do on YouTube, to slow the audio a bit until I can grasp the words. Not only do I live in an area of the US that drawls its speech more slowly, I also have old ears. But otherwise this is terrific, more than I expected in the way of being a lesson. Looking forward to the next lessons!
